It was interesting to watch the mainline news broadcasters this week tell of the stock market falling while they had smiles on their faces and a gleams in their eyes! I think they’re rooting for bad to happen because they hate president Trump so much. It’s not very nice..
Then in Alameda County you have congressman Eric Swalwell chanting new profanities everyday! That guy’s become unhinged just like our own Mark DeSaulnier. These Dems must smoke weed when they’re not in Washington.

Sure – and the economy was in superb shape when Joe left office.
In both administrations he started with his destruction early, just this time around he was more efficient. But last time his tax cuts added huge sums to the deficit. I know that there is a saying that tax cuts pay for themselves, which migh be true if you put more money into the pockets of the middleclass but they don’t pay for themselves if you put more money into the pockets of the super rich. None of them was ever constrained by taxes from spending, unless the middle class.

when will they learn that tariffs doesn’t work and trump use it to try to intimidate other countries at the expense of the taxpayers?
You would think the lefties would have learned something from the election in November but apparently not…. looks like they are lining up to be wrong en masse all over again.

So, here we are 10 days after “liberation day”. Trump was telling us that America was never wealther than when we had huge tariffs. MAGA kept repeating it. It will be the foreign governments paying for these tariffs. These tariffs will bring jobs back to the US and on and on.

Now where are we today we got a basic 10% tariff on all imports which is basically a national sales tax. All his big talk about huge tariffs on the world who is ripping us off, he needed to walk back. The world is ripping us off but funny enough the US is wealther than it ever was. He angered our allies. Bessent now wants the Pacific rim countries to unite against China on trade. Funny enough that was the Trans Pacific Parnership Trump killed during his first term.

There is a huge loss of credibility and uncertainty in the market. Our allies do no longer see us as a reliable partner. This whole thing has been a incredible bad idea from the start and the only thing we got is a huge tariff in cheap plastic products his MAGA folks are buying in Wamart. Computer, cell phones, semiconductors from China all are exempt from tariff.

At least Trump kept his promise to stop the the Russia-Ukraine war on day one, and quickly reduced the price of eggs. Um, he did, didn’t he? I’m sure Trump wouldn’t BS us.
After 80 days federal spending this year is $154B higher compared to the same time last year. Good job DOGE all this commotion for no real savings. Even DOGE has now revised their alleged savings to $150B throgh 2026 down from the intial $2T savings.
