10! seconds (10 factorial: 10x9x8x7x6x5x4x3x2x1) is exactly 6 weeks, to the second. Another way to say it is 10! seconds=3,628,800 seconds=42 days=6 weeks. Precisely.
Coincidence??? Well yes, but still..c’mon.

You’re weird.
I like that.

Tesla/Musk protestors destroying vehicles, where are the police or the private vigilante guards? Shoot them on the spot with Molotov cocktail in hand. Execute these morons.

I saw a new Tesla in a parking lot with a “No Elan” sticker on it. Not sure why someone would buy a Tesla if they don’t like Elon. Maybe someone put it on the car or the new owner thinks it will stop someone from damaging it. I don’t know. The people protesting and damaging these cars are deranged.

If someone does not like Musk and what he is doing, that’s their political opinion. Damaging someone’s car does not impact Musk. It only hurts the car owner.

You are correct, except, it also costs us, firefighting is not free. Police investigating, not free. Damage to road surfaces requiring repair, not free. We may not get a bill, but the money extracted from us in the form of taxes or fees pays for these services.

I agree with that. I is a tactic not well thought out.

I don’t condone violence and that kind of mayhem. In fact, I abhor it, and I don’t think it is effective, it has the opposite effect. However, “Voices” suggestion, is against what American stand for. If we start to ignore the constitution, we are our way to a 3rd world country.

Fun fact….
I have never been to the Olive Garden😉

well, breadsticks used to be great (30 years ago), now they are average at best. Salads still fantastic. Cannot comment on other dishes.

@Lovelace & Jeff
I’ve only been once, 26 years ago……it was all good but those breadsticks were the best I’ve ever had.

If you could pick one or two events that you would have liked to witnessed–what would they be–mine would be the signing of the Declaration of Independence and Bobby Thompson’s home run–

My two would be the California Gold Rush and the birth of Jesus.

#1 The Roaring Twenties. A time of economic prosperity, advances in aviation, technology,
and the Model A Ford. It was a decade of speakeasies, and the delightful flappers with their fashionable hairstyles and attire.
#2 The discovery of gold in California, and I would have kept my mouth shut.

What qualify as an event? JFK’s inaugural address. Any speech by RFK. The Last Waltz at Winterland, Thanksgiving 76. Any Doors concert were Jim Morrison was half way normal. Simon and Garfunkel’s 1981 concert in Central Park. Being in Copenhagen on May 5th after the German’s capitulated and the streets filled up with people waving the Danish flag (Dannebro) and everyone was happy.

I would love to witness General George Washington addressing his army at a time when their backs were against the wall, to hear the inspiration coming from his words and voice. Second, I would have loved to have been present a couple hours before and as John Hancock, as President of the Second Continental Congress, placed his prominent signature on that beautiful, ageless Declaration of Independence. The electricity and energy in that hall must’ve been immeasurable, the silence just before, deafening.

Finally we are beginning to see spring temps in 70s for the coming week. They’ve been hiding for awhile. Shorts and t-shirt weather! 😎

Nice day today but the tic-tac-toe planes are up spraying again probably at the behest of the PG&E crime family.

How embarrassing l spelt the name wrong Dannebrog, it is the oldest flag in the world, dating back to 1625. 🇩🇰

Ups, one more embarrassing post, it should of course be spelled. English might be my second language, but no excuse for that kind of mistake, other than I was at work and trying to post in my short break onmy phone.

Carson was the epitome of a professional.
Rolls with it
and still outshines the impromptu star.

Did anyone see a giant meteor looking object with a long tail move somewhat slowly across the sky in an arc from south to north around 9pm-ish?
