I wouldn’t threaten much less chase, anybody who has a machete!

When is this going to end? People are allowed to keep making bad choices for their lives and everyone else must suffer because of it? It is past time to lock people up who refuse to care for themselves. It would be cheaper to contain them rather than continually funding government agencies on a piecemeal basis, where most of that money is entirely unaccounted.

If I understand you correctly, you would like another new government agency for housing “insane people” that refuse to take care of themselves.

The problem is they don’t want to take the mind numbing psychotropic drugs that big pharma and mental care facilities prescribe for them. A psychologist friend says those drugs are not to cure their mental problems but to keep them under control. There are better ways.
