The following is from the Concord Police Department:

On Friday, February 21, 2025, around 11:30 pm, Concord Police officers responded to a 911 call from S&S Fast & Easy Market, located at 3200 Willow Pass Road. Upon their arrival, officers located a 41 year old male, Lucas Ray Smith, who was deceased. Subsequent preliminary investigation showed that Smith entered the business armed with a shotgun, pointed it at an employee, and demanded access to the store’s safe. He then forced the employee into the back of the store at gunpoint. The employee grabbed the shotgun to disarm Smith and they became engaged in a physical fight. A second employee heard and saw what was occurring and intervened by arming himself with a legally possessed handgun and ultimately fired one round at Smith, striking him, and killing him while he was still engaged in the struggle with the first employee. Both store employees were cooperative with the investigation and voluntarily provided statements. Neither were placed under arrest. The Concord Police Department is continuing to investigate this case and will ultimately present it to the Contra Costa County District Attorney for review. As the investigation is still ongoing, we have no further information to release. Anyone with information is asked to contact Major Crimes Unit Detective Justin Wilson at (925) 603-5859.

CLAYCORD NOTE: According to local arrest logs, Lucas Ray Smith has been arrested over 20 times since 2014. He was arrested for crimes such as carjacking, burglary, robbery, vehicle theft, being an addict in possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property, etc.

Store clerk did it for her.

She doesn’t need to for this one.

The person who let this criminal out in December for carjacking while on parole should be charged as an accomplice to this armed robbery gone bad. Well actually as it turned out it’s a great thing this animal is off the streets for good !

The maximum just for a parole violation is a maximum of 180 days county jail time. Another little detail CA state legislature stuck into AB-109 passed in 2011. Bill also makes counties responsible for parolee supervision.
.
What happens when CA state legislature operates without
ADULT SUPERVISION
 accomplices ? ? ?

Feel good story. I’ll sleep good tonight. But not as good as  Lucas Ray Smith. The old dirt nap.

Getting a single lethal shot in on someone struggling with a co-worker
is by far,
the most optimal of all the ways it could’ve gone. I salute you sir or ma’am. 🫡

The democrat appointed and voted for district attorneys and judges killed this guy, more corruption from the left, 20+ arrests, people are waking up

Revolving door,
arrest – out,
arrest – out,
arrest – out,
continues until criminal escalates to serious injury or death of a victim
before ” the system ” gets serious or In this case a bullet . . . .
.
Criminal coddling California,
WE ARE ON OUR OWN
