Contra Costa Fire has deployed two Type I Engines to the Eaton Fire in Los Angeles County. At last report the fire was 10,600 acres and 0% contained.

I lived in Altadena for several years, just a few blocks from the Eaton Canyon trailhead . It is a great community with beautiful homes built in the 1920s. According to my neighbor there, my old house is still standing though many houses on the street have burned to the ground. My heart breaks for my old neighbors in this beautiful community.
