Holiday retail theft enforcement continues in Pleasant Hill. As part of their commitment to reduce retail theft, another suppression operation took place last night netting six arrests.
Arrestees include:
Nazia Azahova – San Francisco resident
John Galvan-Vargas – San Francisco resident
Angelina Jaimes – Pittsburg resident
Dennis Cleveland – Richmond resident
Nichol Sloan – San Francisco resident
Juan Villanueva – Concord resident
These types of operations will continue throughout the coming weeks. Thank you to our community partners and public for the support. These cases, in addition to others that have been highlighted will be brought to the District Attorney for review and charging.
Bubba: what are you in for? Thief: stealing panties.
How embarrassing.

Transvestites
Good start to public shaming. Add pix next time please
Good job LE! Now Bexton do yours or you’ll wind up like Price ….names are great thanks! pictures next?
Yes! We do support you law enforcement, and we support the stores to stand up against criminals too! ( we don’t want to pay the higher prices caused by the thefts).. I do have doubts though, about our district attorney as she doesn’t seem to like to prosecute criminals.. but neither did San Francisco’s nor Alameda county’s DAd and both of them were recalled. You just can’t ignore the will of the people continually. We’ve had enough of this ‘restorative justice’ .
BUT, but , but, they were just trying to feed their families!
BUT, but, but, they were trying to turn their lives around!
BUT, but, but, these arrests are racist and it only shows how cops only go after our most vulnerable population and it creates stress in our minority communities!
(Insert any other stupid excuse below)
Stealing from Marshalls…hahaha!!
I guess they are not at the Nordstrom or Victoria’s Secret level yet.
Getting busted for $125. They could have worked an 8hr shift instead. Yeah, but getting a J-O-B is not on the prerogative list.
The Danskins will prevent unsightly VPL in their orange outfits.
Looks like all the baby mamas won’t be getting panties from Santa this year
Speculation on my part,
got basically a ticket and never saw inside of a jail.
DA may decline to prosecute a misdemeanor case.
.
AND REPEAT next week.
.
If there is no threat of substantial incarceration,
there is no deterrence to criminal behavior
It’s not “theft suppression” as these criminals have already stolen the items!
It’s Catching Thieves, with the hope it will have a “suppression effect” on these criminals and their brethren.
No one’s underwear should cost so much that theft rings target it.
At this point in time….Why are they “alleged criminals?”
Because they have a right to due process, and have not been found guilty of a crime yet.
Another reason journalists us the word “alleged,” is because they do not want to be sued.
