Well now we’ll have to wait and see. One thing that is sure, if they flood the city with high density housing property values will TANK. Look no farther than antioch to see problems high density housing creates.

The votes are not all counted. They will resume counting on Friday Nov 8. Except for Enea, this race is way too close to call.

Based on historical turnout, there are potentially 2200-2400 more ballots for the city of Clayton. This election is far from settled. Today there may be a large amount of ballots that are counted. The results may still be very tight. Subsequent counts tend to be smaller every Friday until after Thanksgiving. No one should be stating at this point that any candidate has won or lost. Compared to 4 years ago, the results are very very close. 4 years ago, the candidates in the lead had very significant leads. Right now 66 and 78 votes separate the bottom three candidates.
Hi Citizen.
Do you happen to know the population of Clayton? I’ve seen different numbers from around 10,600 to 11,000. It just seems that there are more votes than voters.
You do know that there were 4 total csndidates and instructions were to vote for 3 (though one could vote for less) You don’t add up all the votes for each candidate.
Times Cast 4,219 889 5,108 / 8,638 59.13%…Again, this isn’t your first rodeo, Mayor! Watcha talking about, Willis? This is not a final count! “It ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings.”

Thanks, Magnus. Yes, of course you don’t add them all, duh. I feel like such a dope.
