can we get other candidates for State Senate District 9, and how is schiff even allowed to be on any ballot?

Please help me understand why Schiff would not be allowed on any ballot. Thanks.

It is a statement on his (lack of) character. Could be said about many on the ballot, but he has shown himself to be as dishonest a “representative” could be, as loathsome a “representative” as any in recent history.

I worked the polls. I was appalled through the election process that people weren’t paying attention to reality–all the experts saying we have the best economy in the world, the vile things one candidate said, that trump repeatedly broke the law, that a record number of Rs who had worked with trump were supporting his opposition, that Putin and other bad actors were supporting trump. It was so evident at the poll I worked that people weren’t paying attention. The only reason we had a line was because people had not paid attention to their ballots and were at the wrong polling place. Had they gone to their assigned polling place, they would not have stood in line to use machines that held county-wide ballots. They could have walked in and used the ballots appropriate to where they lived. It is against the law to wear anything political at a polling place. The only garb I saw against that law was MAGA. We let them in, anyway, talked to them with smiles and without acknowledging they were breaking the law, and that was that.
