No, not for 10-16 year olds. We used to have miniature golf, roller skating rinks, arcades. It would be nice to have some of those places again. We don’t even have any late-night diners anymore, like Mel’s or Lyons. Nations used to be cool until they ruined the old-timey vibe with that “remodel”, it’s like a hospital cafeteria now. The old Kmart would be a GREAT place for an indoor fun center for kids. The only way for it to work would be to have a lot of real security so that a handful of kids who don’t/can’t act right do not ruin it for everyone else.

Yes, there are plenty of things for kids to do.
Cities provide sports fields, parks, and playgrounds
with recreational equipment to play games, or fly a kite.
Some parks have tennis courts, and a swimming pool.
There are hiking trails where the kids can get up close
to nature, hunt for bugs and enjoy the scenery.
Children don’t really need much, they are imaginative and
creative, always inventing and reinventing things to do.
The kids in my neck of the woods are always outside
doing what kids do best…playing, and annoying. But
in a good way, I enjoy seeing children having a fun time.

No many favorites have shut down. Roller-rink, mini-golf, laser tag, many bowling alleys. There are also not enough protected bikeways with everyone driving like crazy. Travel team sports have also ruined what used to be low key community/city sports leagues.

More than enough. We have:
pixieland
large parks
bowling alley
batting cage
the canal.
the kids need to be unplugged and go outside to play.

When I was a kid there were lots of activities for kids. Then the lawyers got busy.
