No…… and it has resulted in too many power blackouts, fires, increased water usage, & warnings about water shortages (because Newscum is allowing rampant growth with no infrastructure planning) …. not to mention higher PG&E bills

What extended summer? Summer is from June through September
every year, so I don’t understand the question. This year, the first week
of October is a little hotter than usual, but summer is officially over.
If you mean the extended hot weather, I like it better when it’s under 90.

I recall some “Indian Summers” from years ago and particularly some balmy days right around Christmas. I’m not a fan of cold weather. I got enough of that in Washington including 2′ snow drifts.

It’s not just recent. In October `91, I was camping with the Scouts on Lake Berryessa. It was hot and dry enough, that I took down our tent before breakfast. People who waited had a much harder time fighting the Santa Ana winds. By the time we got to the parking lot, we could see the smoke from the Oakland Hills.

Oh!, … October 22nd, 1977, on our Wedding Day it was 103 degrees, …Concord/Pleasant hill area.
Not ready for that, … the photographer was not happy.

Oh Come on. Recent hot summers? Just like the years with droughts, the long hot summers cycle in and out. Nothing new. Sell that climate change BS somewhere else

Yeah let’s just ignore the two terribly destructive hurricanes in Florida. Miilton, the one about to hit Florida was a tropical storm 2 days ago and now it’s a five. Same as Helene. This didn’t used to happen. The water so warm it jacks up the Hurricanes like steroids. This is what climate change is. Deny it all you want while people die

Climate change!
The climate has been changing for millions of years and will continue
for another million years no matter how much they TAX and CONTROL US!

It’s been happening for the past few years, and before that its never ever happened previously for the 4.5 billion years that the planet has been in existence. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

We’re doomed I tell ya. Better than an ice age though. I hear those really suck.

When I was a kid we were going to get another one for sure!

When I was a kid I worried a lot about quicksand. And giant clams grabbing my foot and drowning me. And werewolves.

We might have been neighbors.

I am over it. Let fall begin.

We’ve had heat waves like this before in October. And it’s going to be over in a day or so , so let’s stop doomsdaying it! Truly, weather moves in cycles.

I just wish everyone would buy an EV and place those good looking solar panels on their roofs so we could return to normal weather patterns.

No. As I age, it is much more challenging.
