Shout out to our wonderful Governor Gavin Newsom. He announced this week that he and his family are giving up the Governor’s mansion in Sacramento for his house in Kent field. Gavin has been a champion of climate change by even going to China and meeting with officials about reducing their green house gases ( I’m sure Xi was fascinated by his visit). Gavin is also supporting a possible tax imposed on drivers per mile they drive. His EV mandates, gas blowers, and getting rid of gas appliances is clear and loved by the Greens. I’m just wondering what these same people think about Gavin’s R/T from his doorstep in Marin County to the State Capitol at 176 miles in his SUV that puts out about 1 pound of CO2 per mile. I’m sure he’ll find excuses to stay home and work remotely like still many city, county and state workers. I guess those private schools in Sacramento can’t compare to the elitist white private schools in Marin where Gavin’s kids would feel more inclusive.

He has not slept one night in the governors mansion and would not let his kids set foot in sacramento. He lives in Napa
