In concept, a park is a good idea for the site, which my office directly overlooked for 10+ years. The problem is that downtown Concord has a lot of speeding cars. Accidents happen downtown weekly. Many of these accidents involve cars jumping the curb. Because of this, I think a park on the site isn’t feasible from a public safety standpoint.
SCOTTY,

Who are you going to petition? This is privately owned property, not public property. Do you not believe in private property rights? The City of Concord isn’t going to purchase this property for a park, as a park here isn’t in the City of Concord’s development plans for this area. This is also a horrible location for a park and it lacks the necessary parking.
The lot now needs a white picket fence.
WC RESIDENTS,
.
The white picket fences only go around City of Concord owned lots.
Let’s petition to make this a
PARK – well lit (no sleeping there), playground, sitting areas, picnic tables!

Put a PEETS COFFEE
WARM KITTY,

This location wouldn’t work with a drive-thru. The CVS parking lot is a better location for a Peet’s Coffee.
there’s already a Peet’s less than half a mile away..
Big improvement! Now keep the homeless out / off of it
How does one investigate something that is no longer there?
Building should have been demolished decades ago…
