Beware of the line, but we thought we’d let you know that Dutch Bros. will FINALLY open on Clayton Rd. in Concord.
It’s been over 2 years since construction on the tiny building started, but they finally finished, and they’ll be officially opening on Friday Aug.2 at 5 a.m.

We went last night for the soft opening. All drinks were free! I just drink plain espresso but the kids got some sweet coffee concoction and a frozen lemonade. Don’t think I will be a regular.
Can’t wait to see if it creates a traffic mess or not like it did in Martinez. It still backs up on weekends. Plus I noted that the downtown Starbucks is doing less business on Saturday since Dutch Bros opened.
I find it amusing what people will actually wait in line for..this tops the list.

Whoever designed the traffic flow for the drive-through needs to have their head, examined it directly goes through the Taco Bell parking lot blocking all of the parked cars.
Didn’t city of concord approve the plans ? ? ?
They done so well, with plan for starbucks corner of Clayton Road and Treat.
Was such a thrill going west on Clayton turning left onto Treat not knowing if you’d be stuck in the intersection. Waiting for cars blocking lane until they made it into lot was such a thrill.

Dutch Bros is overrated. I won’t be patronizing.
Wednesday night they must’ve been testing and training the flow pattern for traffic. Cars would enter the driveway next to Strictly To Go Pizza, the one at the traffic light with Bailey Rd. Vehicles would then proceed behind the businesses back to Dutch Bros. Looked pretty smooth. I didn’t see how the line affected the Taco Bell Drive Thru though.
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL COFFEE SHOP I.E Chick’s Donuts and Coffee Shop. Otherwise this will be the garbage we’re left with.
