Big Lots To Close Concord Store On Monument Blvd.

Big Lots announced the closure of 40 stores throughout the United States, including the ones in Concord and Fairfield.

The stores will shut down within a matter of weeks.

The company said inflation, cost of goods, and competitive and economic pressures led to “substantial doubt” of their store operations.

No surprise….every time I went there – there were very few shoppers ….take that and the theft – there gone!

With family budgets stretched so thin there is very little or no discretionary income available to spend. Expect more business closings of businesses that rely on discretionary spending.
