BART Seeking Volunteer To Serve On Police Review Board

BART is seeking a volunteer for a two-year term on its Police Citizen Review Board.

The position is open to residents of Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, or San Mateo counties.

To qualify, candidates must be fair minded and objective, and demonstrate a commitment to community service.

Candidates must have no felony convictions, may not be currently employed in a law enforcement capacity, either sworn or non-sworn, and not be related to current or former BART police personnel.

Applications are due Aug. 8. The appointment will be made by BART District 5 Director Melissa Hernandez.
