Welcome summer!!!

Climate Crisis!!! OMG it’s June and the temp will get warm, been happening for decades. They should mention to get enough sleep, eat a healthy diet, get some exercise too. Maybe they should create a ‘living life advisory’ and put everything in it and post that every couple of weeks to justify their existence. Geez.

‘Climate Change Agenda: Media Hyping ‘Extreme Heat Warning’ When CA Temps are Not ‘Extreme’…

““More than anything else, what Newsom and all the rest of these politicians who want California to set a ‘climate example’ to the world are in denial of is their own misanthropy. They know perfectly well that California only emits one percent of the world’s CO2. They know as well that China and India are not about to stop using fossil fuel to grow their economies. They know that fossil fuel accounts for 85 percent of global energy production, with hydroelectric and nuclear power accounting for another 11 percent. All renewables account for only four percent of global energy production. Four percent.”

I grew up here all my life and I have been extremely heat intolerant. No amount of healthy lifestyle tips will help. Seniors, children, and disabled people are also very prone to heat illness, should they exercise too? Eating and sleeping well is a given for anyone, but you cannot expect every senior, disabled person (me), or children to maintain a proper exercise regimen. It’s generally unsafe to be outside during high UV index heat, even for a seasoned athlete. My house used to be able to stay cool during the summers growing up, but it can’t any longer (currently 82F inside, it has been up to 95F before, when as a child, it never hit 80F). Hell, I wasn’t dealing with heat exhaustion this early in the previous years. This is the earliest I have had it, I generally only start to struggle at the end of June, but it’s barely June and I am being told to go to a hospital for treatment. I’m not cause I don’t think it’s that severe even though I’m not sweating at all (which is a dangerous thing).

Climate crisis is absolutely a thing. It’s been studied and proven that we are now experiencing extreme weather anomalies. More frequent & severe tornadoes (and outbreaks) in the midwest, unusual hurricanes developing in atypical hurricane locations (and stronger hurricanes in typical locations), extreme winters causing damage to power grids, etc – all due to a worldwide contribution of CO2, excess trash, and other environmental damages.

People have become soooo soft with regards to temperatures more than 90°.

It’s pathetic.

Put some bottled waters in freezer so if you have to go out during hot part of the day you can take a couple with you. Put one in a back pocket, gives contact cooling and as it melts you can drink cold water to lower your core temperature.

Eat cooling foods. More veggies less meat. But that seems to be blasphemy around here. 😎

Do cold cuts count?

I set some out on the table but I couldn’t hear them count. 🤣
