BUSTED! Police Arrest Walnut Creek Man For Possession Of Stolen Credit Cards, Writing A Bad Check & More

Brentwood police arrested a Walnut Creek man earlier this week for allegedly committing fraud at a bank.

An officer responded around 3:30 p.m. Monday to a bank, where the manager said last week a man cashed a $2,000 check, which was later determined to be fraudulent. The bank provided a photo of the suspect and identified him as 34-year-old Adam Lew.

A few hours later, police received a call requesting a welfare check on an adult male sitting in his car in the 4500 block of Balfour Road.

Responding officers immediately recognized the man in the car as Lew and arrested him.

Police said they found fraudulent checks, an M80 firework, shaved keys, and several debit and credit cards that didn’t belong to Lew.

Police transported Lew to Martinez Detention Facility, where he was booked on suspicion of passing a fraudulent check, possession of stolen debit and credit cards, possession of a destructive device, identity theft, and other related crimes.

Do These Idiots Really Believe They Won’t Get Caught?

They risk getting caught, as chances are pretty good that they will be let loose right away, and not face any consequences.

Getting caught means nothing these days(in California).

From personal experience last year – perp committed felony fraud 2x against me – police found the woman – teller in the bank refused to ID the person even though it was all on video from the bank – the perp walked! Even though tellers are supposedly required to sign up for identification of perps as employment requirements,- they can just deny to having to ID them

Why should Mr. Lew care, he will be out of jail the same day, will be told to be at court on a specific date and that is that, but wait, he will not show up, get arrested a second time and the same story, let go, you need to show up to court, he does not. This cycle will go on for years as soft on crime has givin these felons a free ride.

He won’t do any serious time incarcerated, this is soft on crime CoCo county.
Let the plea bargaining and dropping of charges commence all to save the cost of a trial.
