Walnut Creek police said a man who allegedly hit someone with a rifle in March was arrested in Las Vegas and is now in the Contra Costa County Jail.

Police responded shortly after 12:30 a.m. on March 2 to a reported disturbance in the 1500 block of North Main Street. Arriving officers found a man on the ground with a head wound.

They determined the man was struck with the stock end of a rifle by someone who fled the scene before they arrived.

Police identified the suspect as Malcom Harris, 28, from Suisun City and issued a warrant for his arrest.

Malcom, Malcom, you do get around, right? Don’t worry, Auntie Diana won’t post your picture.

DA Becton must do her job on this one. Hoping to see a follow up story here in a year’s time.

Malcom is a good kid. Wishing him the best from Claycord

He was turning his life around…
