Construction Alert: Night work on Grant St. & East St.
Timeframe: Monday, May 6, starting at 7 p.m.
Impacted Intersections: Grant St. from Karen Dr. to East St. at Salvio St.
Starting at 7 p.m. the evening of Monday, May 6, limited lane closures are expected on Grant St. from Karen Dr. to East St. at Salvio St. for the Grant Street/East Street Pavement Rehabilitation project.
The Contractor will be removing extraneous black paving markings on the street. These markings, if left in place, may confuse drivers.
To minimize inconvenience, please watch for signs and avoid the construction area when possible. City Staff and the Contractor will be working diligently to minimize traffic impacts.
And Monument continues to be full of potholes & cracked pavement.
Gee… Mayb if they’da dun did it right in da 1st place……

This work is being done by a contractor and most likely part of a required road improvement as part of the new housing construction at that site.
Apologies..wrong project. Should have looked at map… before commenting!
On the other hand… They have torn up the intersections with other streets connectiing this area over and over for the last few years…
More underused and unused bike lanes coming to downtown Concord in the near future as a result of this road work.
