Thank you for being soft on crime.

Being soft on misdemeanors thefts has nothing to do with this. Pinning the blame on anyone other than the killer is appalling, think before you post.

I agree with you. Some people need to think before they make stupid comments.

Dude lex are you really this dense? You jackholes put the blame on systemic racism, the gun, childhood trauma, whatever some liberal polly science degree basket case can dream up. I think it’s more than appropriate to question a soros funded DA and the defund police crowd for the sudden increase in violent crimes happening in our county.
.
Nobody is afraid of the law. Giving criminals a pass is the reason. You act like this isn’t a thing they are doing. Shame on you for minimizing the impact of soft on crime policies. That man deserved to live. There’s no reason these criminals should think they can get away with anything, except the current mind virus that’s infected our county and country.

NEW: Crime in Oakland, California is getting so bad that Gov. Gavin Newsom is sending in state prosecutors to tackle soaring crime. Thanks to Soros-backed DA Pamela Price, violent crime is exploding as she pushes for lighter sentences to boost “equity.” Some reports state violent crime is up 21%, robbery up 38%, and vehicle theft up 45%.
.
“no connection” Libs are disgusting

He needs to send in the national guard. Shutting down restaurants in Oakland is the answer, it’s just going to get worse.

So sad what is happening in Pleasant Hill. It used to be a safe community and now it is questionable. Who would want to stab a janitor to death? No reason. California has to change its law and be tougher on crime.

Abe,
if I could give you a million thumbs up on your post I would.

Regardless of who the DA is, crime occurs, little one. DA’s don’t stop crime. The very idea that a DA whom you approve of would somehow stop crimes like this is the view of a child and the Diana Becton war cry is tired and shows an incredible degree of ignorance. Further, a man was murderer in our community. Show some respect and take your little political opinions somewhere else.

Mac
You are correct in the assumption that crime happens. The problem is the DA will not prosecute those who are committing the crime. This encourages them to keep committing crimes and other to commit crimes because they know they will get away with it. Crime should always have a penalty not a reward.

Maybe it is time to question policy, before others die.
What happens when you give someone an inch? They take a foot. It you don’t stop it, it’s only going to get worse. Someone has died, very unfortunate, so maybe now people will start realizing what’s going on.

I feel so sad for his wife. What an awful traumatic thing to find your love murdered. My heart goes out to the family.

Have read somewhere that the use of a knife to kill someone is likely an acquaintance murder.

My sympathies to Mrs. Jacopo. How heart-rending for her to find her husband in such an awful state.

The last few heinous crimes have been solved in weeks once the United States Marshals got involved.

No real parenting, the parents were what the kids are now,and the kids will become awful adults/parents.The young dont value life. One time I heard 2 crackheads talking about how they like to rip off the street dealers that come to your car window to sell you dope, but then one said’you dont rip off the young guys, they will kill you!!” the second guy said ‘ that’s right!!”

A lot of homeless hang out at these PARKS where children are supposed to play freely. Not saying that’s who’s to blame, but I’ve noticed this problem at most local parks. Maybe, just maybe, some good old fashioned foot patrols by cops would help.

feels like it is time to start mopping up the s#!theads. I know that sounds bad but this seems like this is too close to home for normal’s, no longer the the bad guy fighting the bad guy. just a thought.

If they dont catch this guy they are as clueless as someone who would do this knowing you are on camera 95 percent of the time, and this wasnt the first time they have killed someone.

I pray they find who did this to him. Sending his wife and family prayers

“Lacy will also meet with staff to identify additional safety protocols that may be necessary to
mitigate future risk.”

That is a weak answer to a blatant horrific crime that just took place Saturday. To take two days to respond is too slow. I believe the public “us” will want to know exactly what will be done so not any more crimes will be committed. Will they install security while the night shift crew is working?
When they catch that scum bag that person should get the chair. An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.

My heart goes out to the family, may God bless.
