Garage collectors with Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery will have Christmas Day and New Year’s Day off this year, which means your garbage collection will be delayed by a day for those two weeks.
If your collection day falls on Monday, your garbage will be picked up on Tuesday. If you’re garbage day falls on Tuesday, it’ll be picked up on Wednesday. That schedule continues for the rest of those two weeks with Friday’s usual pickup happening on Saturday.
All other garbage companies are following the same schedule.

Have you ever seen a Garage collectors pick up garbage that escaped from their trucks while dumping the cans?
I see the drivers get out and pick up stuff fairly often.
More importantly though is how often do you pick up loose litter or other debris in and about your neighborhood?
