Very sad Roz…I’m just wondering how they knew he was intoxicated at the time if he fled.

SIMONPURE~
If it’s the same kid that BADGE1104 posted, he crashed the stole car and took off on foot.
Then 3 (?) bystanders pinned him to the ground and called police.

If I’m not correct on this, someone please let me know, TY

Not a “kid”. Young and stupid yes, but a legal adult.

.
Immigration status?
.
This datum should be standard public information since California government harbors, abets, and protects illegal aliens.

It’s worse than anyone thinks. All you have to do is read the news.

That’s a totally valid question! And shame on anyone that tries to make one feel guilty for asking! The news reported that the teen was drunk and in a stolen car. This shows how far our society has sunk. I’m beginning to think that we’re too far beyond the point for recovery.

Last night at about 9:00 PM my wife and I were driving northbound on Ygnacio Valley Road. We found ourselves behind an obviously drunk driver who was not driving at a consistent speed and was unable to stay in their lane.

Please be careful out there during this time of the year!

… and you did not call 911 or the local police department?
.
Why not? EXPLAIN YOUR LACK OF ACTION.

No one owes you an explanation for anything. Stay in your lane buttercup

As a percipient witness to this presumably drunk driving, I owe you no explanation on what I did or didn’t do. Your response to my comment is foolish.

.. they need to throw the book at him.. jail time to the full extent of the law 25 yrs? then pay family reparations when he’s out… no bail no probation no early outs

Sad situation all the way around.

I don’t think people realize that if you encounter a drunk driver you can and should call police. Give the police their liscence plate number, street they are driving on and direction they are driving. This can save lives.
