State Health Officials Urge Vaccination For Flu & COVID – Will You Get Vaccinated?

The California Department of Public Health is urging Californians to get immunized against a triple-threat of viruses that are expected to surge in the coming months.

Rates of COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, are expected to spike in the late fall and winter months as more people gather indoors, and as fewer people are getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

But a shortage of RSV antibody doses this season has federal and state health officials shifting their guidance to include more vaccinations for pregnant women during certain periods of their pregnancies.

Vaccination rates for COVID-19 are much lower compared to the past two years. The vaccines were previously free for patients, with the cost paid by the federal government, but are now on the commercial market.

About 4.6 percent of the state’s population is up to date on the COVID-19 vaccine, compared to 75 percent of the state that was fully vaccinated at the height of the pandemic.

COVID-19 infections have come down in the state after a brief summer surge. Statewide, there were 610,381 people newly hospitalized with coronavirus between Aug. 20 and Oct. 14, an average of 248 per day. The state recorded over 104,000 deaths from COVID-19 from Aug. 1 to Sept. 25, an average of 19 per day, according to the state’s COVID-19 tracker.

QUESTION: Do you plan to get the flu and/or COVID vaccine?

You really believe there’s a difference between the poisonous jab and the poisonous flu shot? You fools! I know so many people who REPEATEDLY get sick from the intentional poisonous arrow and some are even dead when they were complete healthy!

No more poison for me.The shots gave me bad health problems.

I noticed the same thing, always getting sick now. The wife too

Already have the flu shot. No intention of getting the covid version.

Hahahaha
No way I’ll pass
Unfortunately my trust in the medical system was completely eroded
I’ll take my chances with exercise and a healthy diet

Just got another COVID booster last week

You should get a thecal pump so you can keep them continuously infusing

My wife and I have already gotten our flu and Covid shots. My wife got the RSV shot, and I plan to get mine in early November. From what I’ve seen, the RSV shot is expected to be effective through both this winter and next. We got our shots at Walmart in Martinez on a walk-in basis. Very quick and easy. Some of the other pharmacies requite appointments, and that’s been much less convenient for many people.

Of course I will, as will any responsible person. My appointment is for tomorrow morning at CVS. Getting both the Covid booster and the flue vaccine.

You wouldn’t want your chimney to get Covid.

A responsible person knows that the “vaccine” neither prevents you from getting COVID nor from spreading it to others, and that there is virtually no empirical evidence that more vaccination among the population prevents or inhibits the virus from further mutation. But congratulations on your virtue.

COVID vaccine doesn’t have anything to do with being responsible to anyone but oneself. It doesn’t prevent or slow transmission of the disease in any way to another person so any potential benefits are only for the person taking the vaccine. People should check in with their own primary care providers to determine if a covid vaccine is beneficial to their own health situation. It’s irresponsible for a blanket mandate or belief that it is the right thing for everyone to do, given that it does not prevent or slow transmission to another person. Another person’s covid vaccine status has absolutely nothing to do with your own or with the possibility of you contracting the disease because, while the vaccine may or may not lessen your symptoms, it will not prevent you from getting the disease. Given that it doesn’t prevent the disease, each person should have the autonomy to weigh benefits and risks and then decide what medicine to take. Anyway, if a person thinks the vaccine is preventing them from getting covid, then why worry about what other people do? If it works the way you think it does, then you would be protected merely by getting the vaccine yourself.

“any potential benefits are only for the person taking the vaccine”
.
That’s an interesting take on things. So staying out of the ICU and not running up huge healthcare costs born by others and in the end by the taxpayers is not a potential benefit for anybody else than the person taking the vaccine?
.
How about not overwhelming the health care system and preserving ICU beds and health care staff for patients who don’t have preventable conditions?

They need to leave room for all those pregnant mommies flooding over the border, huh?

Do you think they give birth in the ICU? And if so don’t you think that would be a life threating event? Seems weird for the anti abortion crowd.

Wrong, Hope. Having a recent Covid vaccine means you are less likely to transmit the disease should you become infected. The community benefits when more people are vaccinated. Getting the updated vaccine is the responsible thing to do.

“Having a recent Covid vaccine means you are less likely to transmit the disease should you become infected”
Please provide verifiable support for this assertion.

Are you taking Valtrex to be responsible? More people have herpes and it’s easier to transmit. You should take your 500mg a day. 10 social credit points too!

I got my 3rd covid booster and my flu vaccine a couple weeks ago. I have friends and family with auto immune diseases and i wont risk their lives just to be inconvenienced for a day.

Has it ever dawned on you that your friends and family have compromised immune systems because Big Pharma profits off of keeping people sick, not making them well?

40
15

Why do doctors put you on medication? So you’ll have to keep coming back year-after- year to get their exams, refills, lab work, X-rays, MRIs, CAT scans and so on, and so on, and so on.

20

My family will get the flu shots … but that is it.

“I meant what I said, and I said what I meant…I will faithfully not take these jabs, one hundred per cent!”

SP: One shot, Two shot. Red shot, Blue shot. Dr. Seuss will see you now.

After the first covid shot I started hearing voices.

…and the RSV, ’cause I’m old and have grandbabies….

8

NOPE. I’m tired of hearing of coworkers and families adverse reactions.
Shingles, vertigo, auto immune flare ups.

No thanks, I do not need a GARBAGE contaminated injection where the manufacturer cannot be sued.

Three close older neighbors have breast cancer. Another neighbors PSA is at 17.4! A 54 year old friend developed prostate cancer, a 39 year old coworker has terminal bone cancer. These cases all started after their Pfizer jabs. The physicians are calling this “turbo cancers”, but will not tell their patients since they want to stay employed. I’m a former Healthcare IT worker and heard a lot of chatter regarding the safety of these mRNA vaccines. I never missed a vaccine, but now I have lost all faith in the safety and efficacy of vaccines in general. I’m not alone.

Seems the only benefit of the Covid vaccine is for Pfizer stockholders.

I’ll never fall for the Scamdemic “Vaccine” horsecrap…ever again.

30

Looking at the share price of the makers of the flu vaccines, I’m guessing the CEOs will be putting pressure on the Biden Administration, The N I H. and CDC to begin mandating vaccines since these companies have lost more than half of their wealth in the past 18 months.

Flu yes….Covid no

Flu yes, Covid never again.

Very interesting Substack article. A must read!
“Vaccine” killed 3.5X more Americans than COVID virus

Not a chance in hell they’re putting that poison inside me.

Yes, I listen to doctors but not pundits without medical degrees. .

Apparently you only listen to physicians who toe the corporate line.

Yes. I like being alive. 😎

I had the Pfizer Covid 19 vaccination two months after I had blood clots in my left leg and developed AFIB. Still waiting for a class action lawsuit. Good luck.

The newest COVID shot was tested on 10 lab rats. Not on humans. (Look it up). By now the virus has mutated way past its effectiveness. Many people who got the recent jab are getting Covid.

9
3

I got both the flu vaccine and the updated Covid vaccine, as did the rest of my family. The updated Covid shot is a closer match to the currently circulating strains and provides good protection against serious illness, hospitalization, and death. I got both shots at the same time and had no reaction at all.

1

Yup, got flu shot a month or so ago, got the new Moderna Covid vaccine as soon as I could get it, this week.

Over my dead body! No more poison! Had the first COVID and vaccine… survived, co-morbidly and all… The vaccine doesn’t prevent you from getting it or passing it… following that logic, why would one want to be subjected to possible permanent or long term damages?

Nope. I used to get flu but I’m done with threat games.

Getting seriously sick or even dying because some buckethead on cable “ news” spews nonsense at you non-stop is beyond tragic and I wish it on none of you. Please listen to your doctor, not pundits, they have their own agendas and it ain’t your continued good health. Vaccines save lives, you’re likely only here to even read this because of effective vaccination programs in the past. Don’t let your ideology kill you early, or worse, someone else’s ideology. It makes no sense.

This is simple. If you’re old, or have a few comorbidity factors, get the jabs. If you are young and healthy, don’t. And please don’t give me the “It’s for the greater good and will help stop the spread” malarkey. It doesn’t, and that is a proven science fact. Nor, do masks, unless they are professionally fitted N95 or better. Rule of thumb, if you can smell food, perfume, or anything for that matter, you are wearing nothing more than a germ collector and you are restricting yourself from breathing healthy clean air. In the end, do what makes you feel comfortable, afterall, it’s your journey.
