Contra Costa County Public Works will be repairing pavement as needed on Kirker Pass Road, between Buchanan Road and the Pittsburg City Limit, on Thursday October 19, 2023, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Work will start in the morning, and go through 4:00 p.m.
Restrictions will be in place to minimize impacts to drivers during commuting hours. Minor delays are expected.
Funding for this project is provided by Gas Tax (SB1 Road Repair and Accountability Act).

Nope not made up. It is a fairly large county dept that deals with roads (in unincorporated areas), canals and airports that are under the auspice of the county. They, like public health and the tax collector have been around since the county began
