Temperatures To Reach 5 To 10 Degrees Above Normal Later This Week

Daytime highs in the Bay Area will rise five to 10 degrees above normal from Wednesday through Friday, the National Weather Service said.

“Coastal locations will see daytime highs in the 70s (roughly 5 degrees above normal), while some inland locations will reach the 90s (roughly 10 degrees above normal),” the weather service said in its long term forecast.

“Early October is typically one of the warmest periods of the year, so anything above normal will be noticeable,” forecasters said.

Nights are growing longer as the autumnal equinox has passed, which will allow good nighttime cooling.

The pattern, which is expected to last through next weekend, will dry out grasses, shrubs, trees and fallen leaves and needless, increasing fire weather concerns.

October is typically the peak month for fire weather in the Bay Area.

This state has some of the worst weather in the country.
Summer lasts until the end of October.
It’s a joke.
4 season climates are way better.

Oh my gosh. Im scared!
.
“Out of an abundance of caution”…
an extreme temperature warning should be issued and “Spare the Air” day declared whenever the forecasted temperature is higher than average.
.
(Sarcasm intended).

Indian Summer is fine with me. I don’t like it too cool or too hot.

The inevitable fires will give Newsom something useful to do. He could also suspend gas taxes. But why stop there?

This will make the climate change enthusiasts positively gleeful.
After all, they carry the torch for climate change.
