One person was arrested during a DUI checkpoint at Clayton Rd. and Ayers Rd. in Concord on Friday night.
561 vehicles were contacted and one was arrested for DUI.
Checkpoint locations are based on a history of crashes and DUI arrests, police said.
Funding for this checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
