An eastbound motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon after colliding with another vehicle in Martinez.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 4:28 p.m. in front of 2710 Pacheco Blvd., near Vine Avenue.
The cause of the collision is under investigation

I was coming up Shell from Marina Vista, turning West on Pacheco and I saw the Sheriff’s SUV blocking the road with an ambulance behind. I was wondering what was going on. RIP. Motorcycles – fun until some other driver’s not paying attention and you pay with your life. 🙁 It’s not about your skill, it’s about everyone else’s lack thereof. I sold my Harley once everyone had a cell phone. That was the end for me.
