De La Salle and Carondelet go back on Aug.16. The Walnut Creek School District also goes back on Aug.16.
Claycord Ave, leading to Silverwood School, is a racetrack. Even the installation of speed bumps doesn’t slow down the speeders. Sure would be nice to have the CPD enforce speeding limits.

Traffic around schools are the worst during peak pickup/drop-off times. I mean, parents complain about kids’ safety but ironically much of the safety issues are created by the parents themselves.

I’ve regularly see double-parking, doors opening into vehicle travel lanes, speeding, jaywalking, and kids who don’t pay attention to their surroundings.

My morning commute was the most congested it has been since May. I knew that school was back in session without having to look at the calendar.
