The “Water Cooler” will be up Monday-Friday at noon.
On Independence Day, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream company posted the following on social media:
“This 4th of July, it’s high time we recognize that the US exists on stolen Indigenous land and commit to returning it.”
QUESTION: Do you agree with Ben & Jerry’s?
Talk about it.
…. no …. more political hype …. ridiculous … if any reparations should be made it would be to native Americans imho
ndigenous
ĭn-dĭj′ə-nəs
adjective
Originating, growing, or produced in a certain place or region. synonym: native.
Being a member of the original inhabitants of a particular place.
Of, belonging to, or characteristic of such inhabitants.
Who are they referring to? The Clovis People were not the first!
LOL
I have never had Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Every country in the world has previously been occupied by different people. Thats what makes the world go around. One day I may try some Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.
You’re timing is perfect as their ice cream will be on sale shortly.
Ben and Jerry have ice cream for brains. What lands on Earth was not taken from somebody else? Should every piece of land be returned to its original owners? Canada, South and Central America were also taken, so was Europe, and quite a bit of Africa, and Asia.
Let’s start with Ben and Jerry’s personal and business properties, and turn them over to the Indians. I’m sure they will enjoy producing ice cream, and living in expensive homes.
Hippie retreads after more free advertising, so they can sell their overpriced ice cream.
Well they’ve lost me. I’ll have their ice cream sometimes but I will never buy it now again! Let them give all their profits to indigenous people. All their profits! put their money where their big mouth is!
This just went up on Daily Mail,
.
‘Ben & Jerry’s parent company Unilever loses $2.6bn in market capital as ice cream boycott kicks in over ‘anti-American’ July 4th tweet…’

I boycotted them years ago when they started this crap. Haven’t had their ice cream in 10 years probably, and I used to get it all the time! Their platforms make me sick.
From previous poster…I agree 100%: “Every country in the world has previously been occupied by different people. Thats what makes the world go around. ”
If B&J is so passionate about giving all the land back, why don’t they start by having the founders return the land their homes are on, their corporate offices are on, etc.?? Lead by example.
I have never drink light beer.
I won’t shop at Target.
I have always thought Ben & Jerry’s ice cream was never worth the price.
I’m missing out on all the boycotts.
Gotta love these millionaire, loud-mouth, libs. Always want to give away other people’s money, property or land… never a dime of their own.
Ben & Jerry’s has been boycotted in my world ever since they actively supported convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal since 1982. They have continued to attack America for decades, embraced socialist and Marxist causes, all while also saying, “Try our new flavor.” I saw that Ben Cohen (one of the founders) just got detained today by US Capital Police in a protest outside the Justice Department.
Ben & Jerrys is as un-American as corporations can be and have been so since their inception. The curious thing is that Ben & Jerry’s (the company) is now owned by the Dutch conglomerate Unilever that frankly is also happy taking our money while sharing their corporate disdain for America.
Oh the irony lol

CLOWN WORLD BRO
No, they are fools, and that is a childish argument, ignorant of world history and human/cultural nature over millennia. As stated by a few above, if b or j feel so strongly, lead by example. They own/use multiple facilities that surely belonged to some other group.
To commemorate their new found political voices, Ben and Jerry’s are introducing a number of new flavors designed to appeal to their most liberal fans:
Karine Jean- Peanut Butter
Merrick Mocha
Brinton Batter
Pelosi Pistachio
Levine Love Affair
Mayorkas Mud
Salted Caramel Schiff
Hunter Buzz Buzz
Kamala Cinnabon
Half Baked Biden Dough
I REALLY don’t want to try Brinton Batter. I hear it’s very salty.
B&J can shove it. I’ve never gone there and never will they have always represented the dark side of beliefs.
Boycott those m-fer’s and run em outa business.
Many corporations are now using woke posturing to promote and to try to sell more and make more money. I’d bet that they don’t really care about the causes they harp about.
I strongly agree. All they care about is the bottom line. It’s not like every corporate executive has the same political views. That would be impossible. They’re telling people what “some” people want to hear.
What else could I say. You guys said it all and did a Good Job saying it !!!!
.
B&J is the equivalent of Bud Light.
.
Good point BJs! We should give the land back and move to Europe. Wait! We need to give Europe back and move to Iraq. Wait! We need to give Iraq back and move back to Kenya! They better give us our reparations too!
Didn’t Ben and Jerry’s steal the idea for ice cream? They did not invent ice cream. Didn’t they also steal the ideas for the names like cherry Garcia being named after the Grateful Dead? Aren’t all their flavor names about stealing political and other ideas from others?
Why don’t they simply give all that money they have made back to the indigenous people for using their stolen land to get rich on? just a thought.
Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream should lead by example, if they truly believe that the United States exists on “stolen land.” They should either close all of their operations in the United States and move production, storage, and distribution of their products to Europe or turn over ownership of all of their US production, storage, and distribution facilities over to American Indian Tribes.
I don’t choose my friends, my beer or my ice cream based on political stance. I choose my politicians based on political stance.
If I owned Bud Light or Ben and Jerry’s I’d play it like Dolly Parton. Stay out of the political muck, love everyone, and keep your politics private among like minded intelligent individuals. Some people it’s just not worth talking about politics with let alone current events. They just aren’t correctly informed or intelligent enough.
And Ben got arrested by DHS yesterday protesting in support for Julian Assange.
Ben and Jerry are both way left lost in space nutcases.
I started to boycott Ben & Jerry’s about 4 months ago…………….well, I gave up sugar………I recently bought a size 32 pair of pants…….haven’t worn that size in over 20 years.
