Conditions will heat up in the Bay Area’s inland areas before the Independence Day holiday, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a heat advisory for Friday through Sunday.
Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 100 degrees in Concord and surrounding areas on Saturday, before cooling down a few degrees on Sunday.
Im staying inside this afternoon. I may go out for a iced coffee at Peets before it becomes a heater outside.
It was only 92 yesterday. However, If we had an EMP event it could be disastrous for apartment dwellers and of course businesses. Come to think of it, water (sewage) would also stop. We already have a weakened Electric grid, blackouts. Think how catastrophic it will be if we are completely dependent on Electricity.
DHS has been warning for sometime about preparing for an EMP event like one is expected. They posted tips not that some of us weren’t aware of how to prepare. I found it a bit funny that “Doomsday Prepping” was now “officially sanctioned”. 😀
If it rained every day, I would not shed a tear. Better that than roasting like a chestnut during the holidays.

We had all of June to enjoy. Last night it cooled pretty good not like back east where it is hot and muggy all night. It is also cool enough for a few hours in the morning.
