Fire In Brentwood Contained At 73 Acres – Cause Of Blaze Is Under Investigation

The Balfour Fire in East Contra Costa County, which started at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, grew to 73 acres and was 90 percent contained as of 5:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Cal Fire.

The fire started near Deer Valley Road and Balfour Road. Firefighters from Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and Cal Fire were on the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Why? What’s the big deal to bookmark this?

For later this summer when CA burns as usual, folks will be able to see where fires are and how many.

.. another homeless campfire?

Clean up the homeless encampments. Stop allowing people to camp in areas not designated for camping. Elected officials not using common sense. It’s amazing how this was never a problem when we had laws and accountability.
