A Contra Costa task force arrested seven people during a weeklong “Operation Spring Cleaning” that also rounded up 40 illegal firearms and impounded five vehicles.

Brentwood police announced it hosted the Contra Costa County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force for a week-long operation targeting adults who were seeking to meet minors for sex, with the goal of identifying victims of child sexual abuse.

Fifteen law enforcement agencies logged more than 1,200 law enforcement work hours throughout the week of May 31, Brentwood police said Friday.

The ICAC Task Force also seized 39 electronic devices and executed eight search warrants.

Authorities arrested 29-year-old Nhouel Dulay of Oakley, 42-year-old Michael Patterson of Brentwood, 43-year-old Jeffrey Pallesen of Stockton, 25-year-old Carlos Vera of Brentwood, 21-year-old Edward Stinson of Merced, 54-year-old Robert Stearns of San Ramon, and 29-year-old Randall Alston of Berkeley.

All have been arrested and remain in custody as of Friday, pending preliminary hearings.

Brentwood police said the ICAC program helps state and local law enforcement agencies develop an effective response to technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and internet crimes against children.

The program includes forensic and investigative services, training, technical assistance, victim services, and community education.

If they mess with children, pull a Lorena Bobbitt and cut off their wee-wees.

take the beans off with the franks…

Can’t really tell about the methodology from the description. Is this entrapment?

The mob jears “child predator” and gets ready to grab their torches. But there doesn’t seem to be any real police transparency happening here.

It was obviously a sting operation and the child predators aka sexual deviants were being watched. My hat goes off to the men and women in blue for a job well done. Thanks for getting these dirtbag scums off the streets.

Good job Contra Costa task force. Thanks for your hard work to get these guys off the streets.

How many illegals did they round up?

If any, they should be shipped back to their home country immediately, even before trial. They have already broken the law, so send them back before we spend another dollar on them.

If we cannot send them back, send them to Gavin’s wineries (or other businesses) or to anyone on here that says we should care for them. If you want to break the law and harbor a criminal, you can do that (and then hopefully be charged as well). I personally do not want o pay for someone who started life in this country illegally and has not made efforts to make it legal.
