Speeding cars are not the top concern for this meeting…

Dude. the speed bumps are out of control. No more is needed. Park on your driveway and avoid damage from morons who speed.

Dude. My car was parked on my driveway! My neighbors car was parked on their driveway! You know how many houses got hit this month let alone!?!

Start by not letting a gang of criminals loiter at the murder site 24 hours a day spray painting graffiti all over the buildings. Then actually be in the neighborhood. CPD has avoided N. Concord for the last 10 years unless something happens. We have it all, sideshows, shootings, prostitution, open drug dealing, gang activity, homeless crime. If you want to know what goes on, you need to be here driving around. You know patrolling the beat talking to the people who pay your salaries. Start there. What happened to you guys? Acting all dumb.

Hopefully CPR doesn’t interfere with the prostitution!

(They absolutely SHOULD target exploitive pimps and human trafficking operations.)

It’s actually sad. Not really a joke, but you do you larry

Plan on paying them a visit? Know this: these days, the John is more likely to get arrested than the hooker.

@Anonomous – Yeah. It’s a sad state of affairs when consenting adults cannot conduct a private commercial transaction without risking arrest and prosecution.

It amazes me how many people want to sit behind their devices in the comfort of their home and complain about our law enforcement but no one wants to actually get involved. Go to this meeting if you want to make a statement. Hear from the other side what they deal with on a daily basis and how they’re working to make changes. Quit complaining and get involved, sit in on this meeting.

Exactly!

Ok, But….NONE of this makes a difference if Laws aren’t enforced and Rogue DA’s are allowed to cherry pick the Laws they “FEEL” they want to.
WHERE ARE THE CHECKS & BALANCES AND ACCOUNTABILITY? ????

The DA is the problem not the police. We need more police & a DA not afraid to treat criminals for exactly what they are, criminals with no redeeming value to society.

Most of the neighbors ARE INVOLVED . . . in criminal activity!

You’re on a roll. Where can I catch your act?

why just “recent incidents related to gun violence”, How about “criminal activity”!

11

The big problem isn’t the police, it’s liberal judges and our Soros DA who do everything they can to release criminals to re-offend. As long as CC County continues to vote for them nothing much is going to change.

In the last few elections, I have voted NO on every single judge that was on the ballot!

So Becton is responsible for high crime in the Concord Barrio Norte but not the safety in Blackhawk and Orinda County Club. 🤔

Logical . . .

Seriously? These offenders offend where they live. They don’t live in gated Blackhawk or are members of the Orinda Country Club. They live in Concord, and when Becton fails to prosecute them they return to Concord and offend again. This needs to be explained to you?

We need more police at Solano way. We have gang members hanging out at the liquor stores and near the smoke shop where the recent murder took place. I see police presence there at night which is great, but during the day time they need to get these gang affiliates out of the Solano way shopping center. The reason this is a high crime spot is because the freeway access, it makes it easy to commit crimes and disappear quickly. Would love if my family could feel safe in this neglected corner of North Concord. Please, supply a heavier police presence and stop the loitering for the safety of our families. We support the police and appreciate the Concord Police department. Thank you for all you do to take back our neighborhoods and keep us safe.

Didn’t there used to be a police substation in that strip mall?

Yes there was.

A community meeting? I’m surprised. There was no Mark Desaulnier alert.

He has to remove his head from something first.

DeSaulnier seems to have disappeared. And this comment will probably be censored, like almost every time I mention his name. Is he the one who shall not be named now? He has jumped the shark and should retire, but his enormous ego won’t let him. He isn’t physically or mentally up to it anymore. (Censor! Censor! Don’t let anyone know the emperor has no clothes!)

Really? You talk about DeSaulnier all the time? I recall he used to be a popular topic, but not so much anymore. Not since his health problems. Ok, sorry, my mistake apparently. I guess I just don’t read Claycord very much anymore. I have, however, made comments regarding DeSaulnier in the past (multiple times) that have not shown up. So, apparently censored. Maybe that’s just me??? Or will this comment be censored too?

Oh and by the way – yeah, I think I heard somewhere about him being “our local Congressman”. Lol!

What ? Already censored again?? dang!

There sure is a lot of noise from someone who claims to be censored.

Have y’all ever watched that movie called “Training Day”????
