Galindo St. at Clayton Rd. in downtown Concord was shut down this afternoon due to an injury vehicle collision, according to police.
Northbound lanes of Galindo St are closed. Traffic has been diverted onto eastbound Clayton Road.
Use caution if you’re in the area.
Operating a motor vehicle is not for everyone.
Red means stop..
I hope everyone is safe. Also, at least nobody hit the picket fence this time.
Lol!🤣

I drive this way home every work day and I have rarely seen people NOT run that red. Foul people.
It seems red now means “punch it”. It’s part of the “I’m OK you suck” mentality currently prevalent in the Bay Area. Starbucks cup in one hand, cell phone in another, and **** in the other. Hey wait, I though humans only had two hands. Apparently some are really good at multi-tasking……
@THE FEARLESS SPECTATOR…”Punch it!”…I haven’t heard that
term for decades. “Make sure there’s no “rollers” around before you punch it!”
@ Jessica~
Totally agree with you.
We travel this route twice a week with caution to this intersection.
That is a big traffic light pole.
Officers might consider giving tickets to red light runners and speeders at that intersection.
Obeying the law, that is soooooo 2019.
.. popular “meeting” spot… unfortuately
Lawlessness at it’s best daily.
The exact spot where the kid on the bicycle lost his life last year. These drivers are the worst
I got in a bad accident at that same intersection once….the jerk that hit us ran the light. Be careful out there – especially at that intersection.
my buddy was crossing the street when this happened. Barely missed him. He said there was no tire screech by the SUV – she fully was trying to blow through the red light and hit the corolla so hard it spun 270 degrees. The SUV then continued with enough momentum to knock down the traffic pole. wild..
