Don’t forget to wake up at 2 a.m. to set your clocks forward one hour for daylight saving time on Sunday morning.

Hopefully this is the last time we’ll have to do this.

A lot of devices do this automatically so no need to “wake up a 2AM” and nobody probably does that anyway if they need to set it manually, just set it before they go to bed.

Sorry but I still prefer standard time. All this back and forth twice a year makes me woozy for at least a week each time.

Even though people voted to stop it….. so much for the will of the people … Newscum does the same thing too

it began at our house several hours ago…
why procrastinate

I refuse to play that game!
We voted to END that BS! But the “government lawmakers” said NO!
Lawmakers sit around making ways to control us! They forgot they work for US not we work for them!

Twice a year, we get to hear from the grumblers, whining about DST and changing the clocks.

If people want one time zone then make UTC the timezone for the entire world. In a world of global communications it would make things much easier to know when to communicate with people on the other side of the globe.

Sorry, but wanting DST year round seems hedonistic and self-centered to me. That’s all I ever heard from people who loved the idea, getting off work with some daylight left. They can vote all they want but there are a lot of complex as well as costly issues that need to be addressed.

I personally don’t look forward to it.

Always have a plan on how to stay positive and productive. For example, was out working outside earlier today checking the property. Just lovely before doing business inside. Thenmoved furniture around to be condusive for feeling good when doing business in the big room with shades open. Best of all will be when I do have to drive in and out of the area, it will be lighter longer.

There was an article in the paper that said to do away with DLS, even after a state votes to end it, has to be okayed by Congress! BUT if a state votes to stay on standard time, then Congress doesn’t have to approve that. I’m all for Standard time all year.
