Felon In Possession Of A Firearm Arrested After Two Shootings In Antioch

On March 4, 2023, at 4:39 am, the Antioch Police Department Communications Center received
an emergency call reporting a person shot on East 6th Street. Officers responded and located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to his forearm. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital in stable condition. Responding officers located a crime scene associated with the shooting near East 18th and ‘A’ Streets.

On March 5, 2023, at 10:48 am, the Antioch Police Department Communications Center received a call reporting a male shooting at someone near the intersection of ‘A’ and West 6th Streets.

Responding officers deployed an unmanned aerial vehicle (“drone”) to assess the scene and located a male – identified as 29-year-old Michael Clark – running nearby.

Clark was detained and a shotgun he attempted to hide was recovered, police said.

Clark was arrested for various firearm related offenses, including being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is considered a person of interest in the shooting incident the previous day.

Gee what a surprise, felons and people out on parole doing crime again. Who would have thunk? Maybe the ‘social justice’ movement isn’t working as planned.. who would have thunk?

All Law Enforcement jobs are like being in a war zone constantly. Not only with the perps but also with the defund police idiots and the politicians and district attorneys who cater to ultra-liberal no punishment turnstile philosophy. Just who in their right mind would be a cop today? Patriots, highest order of civil servants and just good individuals who want to create a better society. Law enforcement should be greatly praised in our society.

Wait, felons are suppose to possess firearms? Hmm those laws don’t seem to be working, duh. Get ’em in jail to reduce gun violence!!!
