North Gate and South Gate Roads on Mt. Diablo are now open, and Summit Road will be open to Juniper Campground.
Please drive carefully as the roads are still slippery.
Be sure to bring plenty of warm clothes and pack extra patience – there will be a lot of people in the park today.
The parking lot at the Juniper Campground will be full for most of the day and there will be a lot of traffic on Summit Road.
If you are looking for a hike to experience the snow, or just want to avoid the traffic, it is recommended that you park at Rock City, the Junction Picnic Area, or along South Gate Road near Barbecue Terrace Group Campground.
On snow days, they close the inbound gates one hour before sunset. Tonight, they will be closing the inbound gates at about 5 p.m.

The line was crazy! In 30 minutes we moved like 5 blocks, hadnieven reached the gate. Beautiful day though. Made it up to the kids by taking them to A Sweet Affair.
