Heavy police presence in North Concord in the area of Port Chicago Hwy. and Bates Ave.
Officers are searching for a suspect who resisted arrest and fled on foot.
Police K9s and a drone are in active use.
Suspect is described as a white male adult, gray sweatshirt and black pants.
We have no information indicating that the suspect is armed.
Please avoid the area.
UPDATE: He was located hiding in a garbage can.

What was he being arrested for? I think that might be something we’d like to know being as he is running around out there.

I was at concord garbage disposal and as I was park I saw like 15 cops surrounding every where, so you mean the person was hiding at one of there garbage cans that was in there yard, please make things clear so we all can b in the same page, claycord thanks,
Despite the Chris Rock video, Criminals have no reason NOT to run from law enforcement.
