Since November 1, the Pittsburg Police Department has received at least seven calls regarding the mustang pictured above, which they say has been doing donuts downtown.

Police finally caught up to the driver on Wednesday afternoon when one of their officers caught him in the act.

The driver attempted to get away, and thought he was going to be safe at home in his driveway, but he went straight to jail, and his vehicle went straight to the tow yard for 30 days, according to police.

The juvenile driver was unlicensed and was operating the vehicle while under the influence of marijuana, according to police.

England has right idea, they crush the cars . . . . kinda solves the problem !

They used to do that here too in the early 2000s when the street racing scene was getting big

That’s going to be a BIG impound fee!

.
“Impounded” for 30 days.
.
The “storage fee” will be more than the vehicle’s value. Look for it at an auction.

Just look at the parents – it will say it all…like they didn’t know he had a car & no license ??
Lets see what the DA will do ??

NOTHING!!!

Good job LE! ….. vehicle won’t be worth the impound fees … probably the point

He thought he was going to be safe at home in his driveway … Ha, Ha, Ha Mama can’t protect you this time! Throw the book at him and also arrest the parents for child endangerment, etc

Driver….to Big Willie

I hate to see cars abused like that. The kid obviously doesn’t appreciate it, and therefore likely didn’t pay for it. Now that he’ll be on two wheels, perhaps a paper route is in order. Joe Friday said it builds character.

This is another fine example of what happens when people let the school system raise their children.

I believe parents need to be held accountable for their children’s bad behavior.

I agree with The Wizard .. the car should be crushed. 30 days? Big deal. He will be back doing the same thing the same way on January 29.

Why was the driver not jailed? Or sent to a CIA black site for interrogation and reeducation?
