Winds reached 76-mph in Contra Costa County, which was the highest wind speed in the Bay Area, according to the National Weather Service.
The reading was taken on South Black Diamond Way, in between Clayton and Antioch.
Mt. Diablo winds were recorded at 60-mph, the weather service said.
