.
I make gifts (metal or wood) throughout the year and buy a few things outright.

Store-bought: About $250

Material costs: $200 in lumber and maybe $250 in steel and aluminum. These include a custom dish rack, cutting boards, address plates, a chandelier, six wooden American flags, 12 bird houses, custom truck step bars, four custom tow points, a dog ramp, and two cat trees.

Handmade gifts are the best. This year I’m focused on custom macaroni pictures.

personally, $90, but I do not do any of the shopping, and I really do not want to know how much has been spent.

$198 bucks on presents. Believe that has changed from the past. I had wrapping paper unused from last year and glad I did. Just put $52 bucks in to fill up the rest of the tank to head to the two places Saturday evening and Sunday. Just thought I’d add that in too. Just less of us now, but still beautiful…

I spend 4 thousand this year.

I don’t keep track. I buy what seems like a reasonable amount. The kids get approximately the same amount of gifts, but the cost can vary. They aren’t picky. Despite them asking for phones every year, they aren’t getting any until they are at least 13. Maybe older.

Am curious why anyone would submit a negative this time of year on a post about loss and spending less. Only goes to show the grinches of this world or county.

Man up and enjoy the spirit even in the if you don’t have it all going your way.
