90 vehicle burglaries were reported in Concord from October 21, 2022 to December 5, 2022, according to a Concord Police Department report obtained by Claycord.com.
20 of the 90 burglaries occurred on Diamond Blvd., in between Willow Pass Rd. and Concord Ave. in Concord.

90! WOW, that’s impressive! I wonder if they are all the same people doing this? And they must have avoided cams and witnesses. Do you think they will ever get caught by law enforcement? how much do windows cost to get replaced? they must work for the glass company. minimum 27k in glass replacement.

This is just the ones people bothered to report. Most don’t bother anymore, as it’s a waste of time. Neighbor just had a window smashed and a bag taken in this area and it’s not on the report. You can’t walk around Elinwood without crunching on broken safety glass (only a slight exaggeration).
The cops know exactly where the perps are. They are under the bridges and in the homeless camps, which is why this is all in close proximity to the walnut creek canal. Why would they bother endangering themselves going in and searching/arresting anyone though when the DA will release without bail and probably refuse to press charges?
California is a post-rule-of-law society, now rule-of-men. Justice is no longer blind, it’s the whim of people in power.

The last time my car was broken into at BART, the BART cop tried to give me every indication without actually saying so to not waste his time writing up a report. I stubbornly did it anyway, but won’t bother if there is a next time.
And of course the problem is that their definition of “Equity” has nothing to do with being fair and impartial. It has everything to do with preferential treatment for some….Ironic because that is the very issue that they are supposedly trying to avoid…..You can’t right a PERCEIVED wrong by merely turning the tables in the opposite direction…..it doesn’t work that way. Difficult to believe that everyone doesn’t realize that because it certainly seems to be so obvious.
The problem is that people in this county are never going to change the way they vote. They will vote liberal, “progressive” right down the line every single time. And the real issue is that they do not think that the way they are voting is connected in any way, shape or form with the current downturn in our quality of life in this county…..Far too many people do not vote in ways that are in their own best interests. I just don’t know how to address that.
I have seen very liberal people look at the homeless camps, trash and crime, and deduce that the problem is capitalism. In their mind, despite California being the closest that any state has come to their socialist utopia, it’s actually just like a gilded age company town.
Every communist thinks REAL communism has never been tried.
So true….That is what is so ironic. People say that with rise in crime that it is like the wild west out there….But it is actually worse because in the wild west people at least had the right to defend themselves and their property from the “bad guys”…..Not so in the state of California.
