Well, that was fast.

Lucky Supermarket announced in September they planned to close all pharmacies inside their stores, and just like that, they’re all gone.

The photo above shows where the pharmacy was located inside the Clayton Rd. store. The most current photo shows it’s now a wall with merchandise.

only thing I seem to go to lucky for any more is to browse the meat section…. little bit ago I scored a vacuum packed 20lbs pork shoulder for .99 @ lb.

.. it was closed along with many others some time ago… some agreement with Walgreens.. I know lots of good people laid off.. sad

shout out to the lovely staff of the concord Lucky’s.. Hey Tam! They are all really chill. I am DJ Bentley and I approved this message.

but then they would have no happiness

Sad to see more people out of work. I noticed today all employees at the Clayton Road Lucky were wearing masks.

I THINK LUCKY’S IS WRONG TO CLOSE THEIR PHARM? WHERE ELSE ARE WE GOING TO GO TO GET REASONSBLEY PRICE DRUGS?

Not in Martinez. Maybe because it doesn’t have a pharmacy which is most likely due to Rite Aid being next door.

Why go pay Luckys prices? Food Maxx is owned by same company. Food comes from same DC. Same Union just stores are less fancy and prices are way less. Luckys will bankrupt you.

Just saying ….. I like lucky’s and the folks that work there. But, lucky’s is the reason that Target won’t move into the old kmart store. Their contract has a stipulation that whatever company moves into kmart can’t sell groceries. Sad. I think I have most of this right.
