It has to be “It’s a wonderful life”, there so many heartwarming moments in that movie. How the community comes together, family, friendship and of course the lesson that we all have an impact on our surroundings, even when we think we don’t.

The correct answer is “Die Hard.”

Standing ovation for this comment

For comedy, favorites are Home Alone (the first one) and Christmas Vacation. Otherwise it would be White Christmas.

Tie between Christmas Story & Christmas Vacation

White Christmas !!!

It’s a toss up between National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and Home Alone.

The Nightmare Before Christmas movie…just kidding…it’s the original Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas movie for me.

It’s A Wonderful Life is a classic and it is a classic for a reason…..that would be my favorite Christmas movie.

Christmas in Connecticut is very good…..I am a big Barbara Stanwyck fan. But there are also others that are quite good imo…..

Now Diehard “took place” during the Christmas season but I’d hardly call it a Christmas movie…”yippee ki yay”…

A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim circa 1951.
Best one ever.

Yes! My all time favorite. Merry Christmas!

“Bad Santa” Heart warming, and full of good old fashioned American values

A tough call between “We’re No Angels” (Bogart, Ustinov, Ray), a very funny movie or 1951’s “A Christmas Carol” with Alastair Sim. The last 10 minutes, after he wakes after the ghosts visit, to me, are just magical.

The Bishop’s Wife, David Niven, Loretta Young, Cary Grant, love it!!

Yes, I love this movie too.

Dirty Harry

It’s A Wonderful Life..
“Every time a bell rings, an angel gets their wings”
All time favorite movie!

More in line with the Thanksgiving holiday is a heart warming great hilarious movie,
DUTCH
It stars Ed O’Neil (Al Bundy), where he travels to meet and bring home his future stepson. Everything goes wrong on the journey home but the trip strengthens their awkward relationship.
Great family flick!

It’s a wonderful life!! Merry Christmas Bedford falls
