There used to be a house on Concord Blvd next to Safeway that had lots of lights and Peanuts characters on the lawn. They played the theme music for A Charlie Brown Christmas all night real loud!!! It was great. That was about 30 years ago.Ysed to drive by it coming home from work.

“Where are your favorite Christmas lights in the Claycord area?” To get a better response I think posting this question in mid December could help.

I use the site California Christmas Lights
http://californiachristmaslights.com/
The listings are usually submitted by the home owners, but you can search the listings by city and plan a great drive for the kids.

We went and saw The Nightmare Before Christmas House last night. The scenery was all up, the music wasn’t yet. I suspect it will be on tonight though 🙂

Happy hunting everyone!

I like seeing even a few strands of lights decorating a house for Christmas (or Hannukah). I cannot say which is my favorite, particularly this early on. I have seen a couple houses in the Concord area (Mohr Ln, nd a few houses when traveling on Minert). There was a house a couple years ago that was fantastic, but I heard no decorating last year due to neighbors. Maybe a decade ago, there was a house in either Dublin or Danville that was covered in lights completely. Haven’t seen that one repeated, but would like to.

There’s a house on the corner of Mountaire Parkway and Emory Court in Clayton that is so fantastic, it almost looks like its own little city. So many different decorations with so many lights, starting on the roof. Love it!
