Two Vehicle Burglaries Reported In Home Depot Parking Lot In Concord

At least two vehicles were burglarized on Friday in the Home Depot parking lot on Meridian Park Blvd. in Concord.

This is a good reminder to never leave anything valuable inside your vehicle, because sooner or later, it will get stolen.

Any idea what time of day this happened?

“This is a good reminder to never leave anything valuable inside your vehicle, because sooner or later, it will get stolen.”

You either get it or you don’t. I would add don’t leave ANYTHING in your vehicle, valuable or not. A cough drop might be mistaken for a piece of jewelry.

We shouldn’t have to live like this, but we do. Vehicle burglary is preventable. Large insurance companies shouldn’t have to deny claims to wake people up.

I’m kind of surprised this happened, considering how many gentleman I usually see in the parking lot, guarding the cars.

I only shop at Home Depot for tamales and day workers!

Get used to it, folks.
The California government and those that support and enable it are to responsible.
Criminals lose to practice their careers in our once safe and secure communities. Criminal activity decriminalized. Punishment and accountability for committing crimes being abolished. Self serving, feather nesting and smooth talking corrupt politicians.
It’s going to get worse.

Just an FYI – I worked at Home Deot for 17 years. The city owns the parking lot, the Company only owns the land that the building occupies. So, blame the city, not HD

who blamed HD?

MARYLOU E–If the city owns the parking lot, wouldn’t that mean Home Depot leases it? And if they lease it, then the parking lot is their responsibility.

The owner of the parcel is listed as HD DEVELOPMENT OF MARYLAND INC. That’s the controlling company for Home Depot. The parking lot is included in the parcel. The Waterworld parcel on the other side of the creek is owned by the City of Concord. The boundary between the Home Depot and Waterworld parcels is in the middle of the creek implying there is an easement on Home Depot land for the Iron Horse trail in that area.

Great fact checking! Thanks!!!

..ok – who is surprised?? hands?? hands?? no? ….

Chicken Little,
“I’m kind of surprised this happened, considering how many gentleman I usually see in the parking lot, guarding the cars.” Ha ha! You must be referring to the illegals hanging out in the parking lot looking for work. They are not there to guard your car.

George have you ever asked the”illegals” for documentation or even talked to them? At least these men are looking for work. Do you have someone who takes care of your yard or cleans your house? If so Have you asked them for papers or do you claim them on your income tax as workers employed by you? When you have work done at your home….roof, fences, etc do you ask for the workers papers?

Welcome to FRISCO world!!!
Geroge Seros elected 5 more DAs this time. It’s much cheaper than trying to change the law, just don’t enforce the laws.

Oh I thought voters elected DAs. Maybe you should educate yourself as to how elections work?

You need to educate how politics work in this socialist utopia.

LMAO!

Bob….LMAO!

But I thought they had a security guard at that a one Depot! I shop at the Martinez one – no harassment from the day workers, no threats of my vehicle, parking safely, nicer staff, etc

I also find it sad that people had to be I. That parking lot when it happened, and. I one said anything. Sad … it may be smart chase you never know what these crooks are concealing, but still.
