Driving home a palm tree in the back yard of a house on Concord Blvd was engulfed in flames. This was prior to any fire trucks on site.

Looks like someone trying to cover up a murder.

It wasn’t a murder the guy killed himself. He’d lived in that house for 30 years and was evicted Tuesday. Found him sleeping in his car yesterday morning right out front.

He might have said he got evicted but come on. How many explosions was there? And reports say “a” grenade was found. I think not. Each boom was 1 grenade strategically placed through out the home. It was a cover up. Thats the only reason why the flames reached the top of the palm tree. Otherwise that palm would never have caught fire. To wet to. Dude was either into something and was in over his head or he saw something he shouldnt have. This has contract writin all over it and now CPD is gunna cover it up cuz they couldnt do their job. Im not the only one whos notice a bit more than normal patrol cars in the area then normal. Come on people wake up and pay attention to your surroundings folks. I cant be the only one.

You are an idiot! This was my friends dad, who had dementia and other medical issues. The house was sold, but he refused to leave, so he burned the place with him inside. There wasn’t any grenades or anything shady to cover up.

@Posimarx:
Very sad. I’m sorry to hear about your friend’s father. I see the house was sold in June of this year, so your story makes sense. I hope your friend and family are going to be ok.

Thanks for putting the truth out I’m sure we know each other I grew up with this family from elementary at Wren Avenue it’s a shame that clueless people comment on things they know nothing about

Well I live up the street and I heard all kinds of explosions coming from that fire. I’m not saying they were grenades but something kept blowing up!

i heard the explosions . They sounded like aerosol cans .

I’ve heard grenades and these explosions weren’t even close

Did the family own the home prior to June? Why did they sell if he still wanted to stay?

Interesting how you think that if people simply want to live somewhere they can. Not taking into account them not being able to pay the mortgage or pay for code-enforced repairs or anything. The answer isn’t as simple as seemingly most people want to believe.
