Two officers from the Pleasant Hill Police Department were conducting a walkthrough of the parking lot in the Target shopping center due to a high number of grab-and-run thefts, when all of a sudden, they witnessed a grab-and-run theft.

After a brief foot pursuit on Wednesday evening, and a bold escape attempt, two females and one male subject from San Jose were arrested with over $7,200 of stolen property from Burlington in their car and in tow as they were running from the store.

All three subjects were booked at Martinez Detention Facility for warrants and theft-related charges.

Great job by the PHPD.

That’s a lot of loot.

Now if the DA would…..

Oh, well.

Good Job LE! …..now hope the DA doesn’t just give him a slap on the wrist

Thanks to a great police response. Thieves are emboldened by our weak and woke District Attorney Diana Becton. If you commit a crime and are a minority, you can almost be assured your case will be dropped or pleaded down.

She is Soros funded. Anyone who takes campaign contributions from Soros is Woke Socialist. Vote them out. They are gaslighting voters,

“a bold escape attempt” What’s bold about running away like a chicken?
According to Merriam-Webster the definition of Bold is “fearless before danger : intrepid. showing or requiring a fearless daring spirit”.
These people aren’t heroes… they are simply common thieves who ran in fear of the law!

There was a catalytic converter thief in the PH Target parking lot yesterday afternoon going to town with saw as well. Male in his 20’s w/ black hair in an older beat up approx 2000 Honda civic That lot is just getting worse by the day. Be extra aware of your surroundings in that lot and try and avoid the further end of the aisle spaces if possible.

@FYI…did you call the police? Get a video, licence plate number, anything?

These catalytic converter guys are in a dangerous line of work. It’s only a matter of time before one of them cuts off his own hand with his reciprocating saw.

If someone gets killed while a criminal is committing a crime they get charged with murder during commission of a crime. If that same criminal themselves gets hurt or killed while they commit a crime they can sue the police or security guard. Something is wrong with how we treat criminals.

“Something is wrong with how we treat criminals.”

Ain’t no “we” about this; something is wrong with how political Leftists treat criminals. You may have noticed that nobody to the right of AOC is pushing “revolving door” policies down at the local DA’s office. And yet, just about every week you can find a story someplace around the country where somebody got busted, booked, and released, and then went and committed yet another crime. Last week it was a woman murdered on the sidewalk taking her 6 and 9 year old boys to school; shot dead by her ex who’d been caught, but released the night before.

And you can hate me for pointing it out, but “shooting the piano player” doesn’t make you right.

It would take a lot of merchandise to add up to that dollar amount at Burlington!

After they loaded up at Burlington in Concord they went to Target in Pleasant Hill? Wonder where their next stop was. Please don’t let them out. Search their homes you may get the seven thousand to twenty thousand or more.

Good work, PHPD. Unfortunately, I’m not very confident that they’ll face any serious consequences.

Unfortunately, the Pleasant Hill Target has become a terrible place to shop. I stopped shopping there because I just don’t feel safe there anymore.
Nice work, PH PD!

I used to like riding around and looking for stores that had merchandise I needed. Not any more. I now shop from home on Amazon. I feel safer!
