This isn’t a breaking news story, or really even a news story, but it’s a good story.
Here’s a little note from a fellow Claycordian who witnessed kindness this morning.
“While at work I looked out the window and a kid was working in his bike, moments later Clayton PD rolled up and began to help him, then a Clayton Public Works truck came by. Within a few mins he was on his way.”
Very nice. Way to go, Clayton Police and Public Works.
Thanks to the anonymous Claycordian for the great story.
awesome job guys
Example of why I like living in Clayton.
Obviously Clayton parents are remiss in teaching their children that all cops are evil killing machines.
Please more stories like this!! It’s good to have positive stories that don’t generate negative comments. Thank you.
That kid won’t forget that in a hurry.
Many years ago, my kid and I were chatting with a Concord Cop in line at Starbucks.
I asked my kid what he wanted, “the last sprinkles donut in the cabinet”.
The cop ordered his coffee and that last donut, turned and handed it to my son.
These small events leave big memories.
Keep up the good work guys.
Joe
