Way more than normal. Probably 4 or 5 pieces in the week around Halloween. I usually don’t eat any candy. I’ve learned that we only get 3 or 4 groups at our house, so I only get 1 bag.

We try not to buy candy we really enjoy at Halloween, so not to eat it.
Then, Hubby takes leftovers to work to share, but he retired April this year.
We’ll drop any leftovers off at the food bank.

None, these days. No one comes around where I live. When my daughter was growing up and we lived in Foster City, they had an area deemed safe street, it was close to my townhouse where I lived, so we could walk over there. Because of the safe street no one would stop by our house. I’m really not a fan of most Halloween candy, most of it taste too much of sugar and not much else. Will eat M&M Peanuts, if it is in house, but wouldn’t buy it.
When I was a kid in San Francisco, every street was a safe street. Nobody worried about it, and our parents didn’t have to accompany us. They just turned us loose, and we’d go from door to door, and street to street having a good time. We learned from our parents, and in school, to use a crosswalk, look both ways and cross the street safely.
